It's only 55 more days (according to the widget above) until The Clockwork Angel is released! I seriously can't wait...I haven't read it yet! So, I'm excited! From what I've heard it's very good! Plus, anything that Cassandra Clare has posted from The Clockwork Angel, I have read. I particularly like June's The Clockwork Angel excerpt, which you can read by clicking here!
Also, I know it's, umm, a while away....but I seriously can't wait for City of Fallen Angels! I love how every month Cassandra Clare has been giving us fans tiny teasers! You can read all of the CoFA teasers by clicking here!
So....since I don't think my apology up there has made up for my neglect of the blog...I made some City of Fallen Angels wallpapers. And YES, the wallpapers use all the teasers that Cassandra Clare has posted so far! (No, I don't know how to make just one wallpaper...but you lot aren't complaining, right?) On another note...did you know that Cassandra Clare is revealing some super secret book news in August when she comes to NYC? Can't wait...she'll be doing an online chat! You can find out more details & find out how to RSVP to the chat by clicking here! In addition, if you live in the NYC area, you might get the chance to meet Cassandra! I know I can't wait because I'm definitely going to Cassandra's event in NYC! *excited*

ReplyDeleteWoo!! Love the casted roles! Magnus looks kind of silly but since when is he not. Simon looks adorable (again, since when is he not) and Jace looks absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteI love the role for Clary. Wonderful choice and Isabelle and Maia are well done as well (both fit well). Its hard to contain the excitement but I seriously cant wait for COFA, Im just so excited! hehe and to think, we get Simon on the cover <3 *holds in fangirl squeee* Hmm, Now that ClockWork Angel is out, how about a widget for the release date of COFA (or is that asking a lot) Thank you so much for your uploads and dont worry about the delay. Laughing my tail off! I'm a huge fan of the books; my daughter is a huge fan of Tokio Hotel. I've been telling her all along that I think of Bill Kaulitz every time I think of Magnus aka "the gay Sonic the hedgehog"! When I saw your April graphic I just fell out laughing at the coincidence. (I haven't actually fessed up to my daughter that Magnus is my favorite character....)

ReplyDeleteI don't know if those actors really fit ... I personally don't like Tokio Hotel that much and I know that in my whole school almost nobody would ever dare to like them. So it's maybe not really the best idea to take a person who many dislike and think he's too gay to be true.

(E.R. is to soft. She can play bitch and nice girl but I don't think she can play the strength that makes Clary so special.)
The guy who's representing Jace looks okay. I think they (he and E.R.) acted together in Wild Child. That wasn't so bad.
Megan Fox for Isabelle ... sorry but I can't imagine Megan Fox fighting Demons with a whip and looking good while doing so. She is good with modern technology (as in Transformers) but shadowhunters have an old-fashioned touch that doesn't quite fit her. Besides ... she looks to old (= grown-up). Isabelle is a teenager not an adult with half a thousand cosmetic operations. (I like her but I don't think she fits...)
When I think of Isabelle I picture a tough warrior woman who's a beauty ... but it has to be a natural beauty. Isabelle underlines her natural beauty with cosmetics and clothes but underneath she's still a normal human being - unlike Megan who's pretty fake (cheeks, lips, chin ... not real!)
(Just to make sure I'm not misunderstood : I'm not trying to discriminate or diss anybody ... I'm just voicing my opinion. I hope it's not too impolite.)
PS: I have to admit that I haven't yet found anyone better but I'm doing my best to find actors who might fit better. I already have a few ideas but they still need some work. :)
The girl for Clary is perfect. But Jace has a more rough, dangerously, sexy bad boy thing going on then this guy...

ReplyDeleteargh! i love them! very scared for clary and jace though, i want them to stay in love... not to throw apart by the queen etc. anyways, good job with the rolls, though i do not like emma as clary, she just doesn't have that natural feistiness that clary embodies and megan... well, no. but i love maia and Jace of course (alex pettyfer is perfect and he can so act!)

Bill would be good for Magnus, but I think Adam Lambert might be better...
